Hi guys, I am the Owner of Gamelogic/HDS and I am announcing to you guys five killer games that are being brewed up over here at Gamelogic.

Games Are:

O'Conner's Space X -- which a anime styled turn based RPG with over 50 planets and 200 worlds to explore.  Think of it as if Stargate SGI, Stargate Atlantis, Doctor Who, Farscape, Firefly, BSG and All the Star Trek had a orgy and it resulted in a love child with DNA from all of them, then you would have Space X.  This game is gonna be a sci fi lovers dream and its rich backstory will make for a universe like non other.   Also we are settng up a cloud server to quickly deliver DLC so the story will be every expanding.  We are planning to create 100 of other plans and uncountable races.  In addition users will be able to contribute to this as well.

Wolf and Dragon-- Wolf and Dragon is a  Anime styled FPS that takes place in a alternative universe in which you have Castles, Modern Technology, Romans, Tanks, Humans, Telics (Half Human/Half Dragons) Dragons.  Dragons and Humans are able to link up via mind bridging to control on another as avatars.

You control a three man team make of Sparks a Humanoid Dragon, Vin a human, and Sasha a Telic who is faclitates the Mind Bridge.

The Third is a puzzle game on the level with Rayman Origins called Sniffies.  The Fourth game is a Dancing game based on House Music, and the fifth is Devon Carmicheal which is futuristic adventure game with a rich story.

You can find out more about what we are doing at our website www.gamelogic.info and click on the link for Ouya Games.  You can see early concepts art etc. there and more info to follow being we just got our Dev Kits.

Multispace - A New Take on the Cave-Multiplayer-Shooter Genre - Split Screen and Internet multiplay

Hi!

Here are a couple of screenshots and YouTube videos of a beta build (so not final quality) of our upcoming dogfight-multiplayer-space shooter game "Multispace". The basic mechanics are much like in good old Gravity Force 2, XPilot, Turboraketti II, Assault Wing, but we've put more emphasis on physics engine integration and usage. Multispace also has one special feature that will make the game unique inside its genre, but we'll announce that when the game goes live.

Anyway, here's the main feature list:

* Destructible terrain
* Free to play!
* Realistic physics with PhysX
* 2-4 player local multiplayer on the same device: split screen - got four Ouya controllers? :)
* 2-8 player LAN / Internet play with match making

I'll post more videos and pictures here later with footage of some of the features and weapons not seen in these shots...

Cheers,
Ville / Kanki Bros

About
Flummox is a physics-manipulating brain-bending puzzle game designed to challenge and reward the player. Check out our Twitter page @magpiegamesuk for frequent updates on the development!

Synopsis
Wind your way around the underground sewers of a prestigious inventor, testing the latest in future technologies; the Newton 9.81. The, at first, innocent opportunity to test out Dr. Isaac Leonard's wonderful device however, soon unveils a dark secret...

At this current moment the alpha is built for PC with mouse and keyboard but once the game is in beta I will be tweaking the game to work with the Ouya controller also.

Would love to know what you think. Feedback most welcome. :)

Hey all,

I'm in the process of submitting my game Flying Car.

It's an Ouya exclusive physics-based flying/racing game. Kind of Pilot Wings-inspired, with old-school flat-shaded polygon graphics.

I'd really appreciate any feedback you wanna give me. The initial Alpha version will be free in store while I flesh it out and tune it based on feedback.

In the meantime, you can grab it here:

Thanks! Here's some screenshots:

Earth Defense

Just wanted to get a post out there showing the progress that has been made on my game Earth Defense.

Earth Defense is a tower defense game that has a RTS and FPS Twist.
In Earth defense you will be able to collect resources in order to build/upgrade your towers faster which brings the RTS element, and you will be able to select a tower and enter first person view to manually control that selected tower which is the FPS element.
This brings a whole new perspective to the over the top view you are used to in tower defense games.

I'd love to have this ready by the June 4th retail launch, but I'm not sure that's possible. I'll give it my best though.

For the Earth Defense story, and up to date news, pics & vids, please visit: http://www.tyrantgamingstudios.com/
or like us on Facebook.

Here is a very early demo video of the game in action. (I'm still working on tower models)

Twin Robots

Hi!

I'm working on a 2.5D platformer for web + android, and I'll port it to OUYA as soon as I get mine this March! :)

image

In this game you'll be able to control the 2 twin robots you seee above (that's NOT ingame) to find the exit to each level. You can switch control between the two at any time, in fact you'll need to do it in order to be able to finish the levels! Also, both robots are battery-powered so they'll eventually need to recharge since they waste energy with every action they perform. So you'll be running, jumping & solving puzzles toghether to find the exit on each level, all that while you watch out for their battery levels!

Here are some ingame screenshots:

And here you can see them in action:

Of course, I'll keep this thread updated as well.

Text entry? Chat/Voice?

Hello everyone,
I've released a couple of games for iOS and Android and I am now finding myself to be "Ouya Curious"...

I have a really fun multiplayer space game called Quintet where up to 5 people can control one ship (captain, helm, tactical, engineering, science). It's a really niche game, and I'm wondering if Ouya would be good for this sort of thing.

I'm thinking of making it work on Ouya... however you really need some voice or text chat to be able to communicate with each other.

Is there an easy way to do text entry on the Ouya or even better voice chat?

My game for those who are curious:

Rage Runner Officially Launched

Fellow gamers, in the following days, do what you must to bolster your egos.  This may mean moving out of the parents house, taking those training wheels off your bike and learning how to cry like a man.  The dudes over at Hypercane Studios today announced the release of Rage Runner for the OUYA game console.  Rage Runner’s self-heralding as the biggest gaming challenge since the era of square game controllers is a resounding reminder that, in the indie world, your mom does not make your video games for you.

Fast, Unforgiving Action with No Apologies

Rage Runner puts gamers in the cockpit of a rockin’ spaceship, the goal is to go fast and not hit stuff.  The action is fast and the collisions are unforgiving. Gamers will need to flex their memories and sharpen their reflexes if they hope to survive the dubstep laden trenches of Rage Runner.

Highscore Perks

In retro-arcade fashion, the top 5 players get to boast to the world by etching their initials on the highscore server.  The top ranked player each month gets ultimate bragging rights when his/her initials are branded onto the actual spaceship for all players to see.

User Generated Content

Rage Runner includes an editor that allows building full-blown custom levels that can be shared with the community.  All of the levels included with Rage Runner were made in the same editor.  The features of the editor will be community driven and the most popular user generated content will find its way into the game itself.

All graphics are drawn for 1920x1080. It's inspired by Lost Vikings and Trine.
I'm working hard on finishing it before half of March - by the end of the month I hope to have everything ready beside the levels. What do you guys think?

Promo text for EURO competition:

The Lost Heroes is a puzzle platformer with three characters which you can switch between at any time, each with its own capabilities and powers.

First there is the wizardess Casty La Fay with red mane of hair and ability to cast spells and jump high in the air. Second there is the troll called Pebble by his friends and Beware-Of-That-Huge-Boulder by his enemies. Strong and able to break walls with his huge hands and block projectiles at will. Last there is the valiant knight Sir Lancefew of the House of Sparse Lances who knows how to use a sword and bow and fights with valor if not grace.

The game begins when the three unlikely heroes are put in jail because of the great appetite of the troll for precious gems. After escaping with the help of an old and very suspicious looking fellow, they travel through different worlds full of puzzles, platforms and monsters saving small cute creatures and looking for a way home.

You can pick up and use items and new spells that change the abilities of the characters, open doors with keys, levers and buttons, operate elevators and swim. For example with teleport spell Casty can transport other characters into different places, while with a levitation spell she can float through the air. Picking up a bow allows Lancefew to shoot monsters and a hook with a chain provides Pebble with ability to swing.

The game is inspired by the classic game The Lost Vikings and Trine series, written using libGDX and box2D with animations made in Spine2D. Most of the graphics is painted by hand on a graphics tablet, music is composed using professional software and will be cinematic with choirs and large string ensembles mostly because I like choirs and I like violins and cellos and all that.

Hey!

The game im working on at the moment is called "Worm from Hell" (I need help coming up with a good name)

Currently its mostly just a remake of JTRs original Death Worm, if any of you have played that one.
Im making this as a smaller scope game to get used to the ODK and because I really love the original and want it on the console.

Game mechanics are in place, but graphics and features are not completed (many sprites are temporary).

Its probably not released before launch, because I wasn't a backer and wont get my OUYA until then (I was an early preorder)

A Game Based On Dreams.

I'm in the early planning stages of making a game based around dreams. It will be similar to the dream emulator for the ps1, but instead of just being random it will be goal oriented with pleasant dreams and nightmares.

I need some dream ideas that aren't just my own so that I can make playable dreams out of them for the game. If you can remember some of your dreams and don't mind me using them, share them here. You will be included in the credits.

BombSquad: 8 Player Party-Game Madness (testers needed!)

Hey folks,
I've been working on a wacky party/fighting game called 'BombSquad' for quite a long time now and I'm excited to bring it to OUYA...   the only problem:  I don't yet have my OUYA.  So unless someone is willing to loan me one for a weekend I figure I'd just try to get it working best I can on my nexus 7 and see if folks would be kind enough to try it out for me on the actual hardware.

Here's a public beta version:

If you're feeling brave, could you give it a whirl and let me know if it installs/launches or if you run into any problems?  It has very generalized support for android gamepads so hopefully the OUYA controllers will work properly.  (go to Settings/Controllers/Configure Gamepads if you need to tweak anything).
You can also use iOS/Android devices as controllers via the 'BombSquad Remote' app, and it supports up to 8 players.

Here's a link to the Mac version if you want more info:

Thanks much in advance and I hope you like it (well, if it works...)

Heist 8080 : Ten player museum heist (Create Jam)

Heist 8080 is a museum heist game.

For the Create Jam I built a small webserver that lets players connect to the OUYA with their smartphones and tablets. In this game there are a lot of rough edges, but I'm pretty excited about the potential for creating more sophisticated games of 5+ players on the same TV. I think there will also be some cool ways to use the phones to display secret information and things like that.

However, in your investigations, you encounter a pesky and invasive species that is ruthlessly exploiting the resources of a remote young galaxy.  The Universal Council deems this species a minor inconvenience, but one that must be dealt with before it gets out of hand. Soon you find yourself acting as the universal pest control, with the goal of containing the spread of this organism.

Experience the extreme power of an advanced space traveling species, and witness the futile efforts of the Puny Earthlings!

Natural Soccer - Highly Playable Arcade Soccer Game

Hi OUYAs!

My name is Thorsten and I am the creator of Natural Soccer.

Natural Soccer is available on OUYA since day 1 (yeah :-) !) and doing well considering download stats!

As I am still eagerly waiting for my OUYA to ship, I am not a "real" part of the OUYA community yet - I could not even play my own game on "the real thing" :-} Actually, without the noble and great help of JSIDD I never could have released Natural Soccer in time - THANKS AGAIN!

To make a long story short: I would really like to hear feedback of those users who already downloaded and tried Natural Soccer.

So if you tested it, please share your opinion about it in this forum :-)

THANK YOU!
