I am making a game called Arcadey Shooter, its an arcade style shooter where you can pick your loadout and attachments, it will also save your loadout for you but what is special about the game is that in the server you are playing in you have levels and every time you level up you get one of eight improvements which either make you better or your gun, i thought this would help since some people are not good at fps games.
When i first release the game it will have 5 guns in each type which means i will release the game with 30 guns (assault rifle,shot gun,smg,lmg,sniper and pistol) and each gun will be good in their own way which will be noticable in their name, example their is a pistol in the game called LOAD-3D which is the same as saying loaded and this gun has the fastest starting reload speed and highest starting amount of clips.
i also tried to stop players from picking up other guns by having it that everytime your shield goes down you get a clip, this helps because some guns don't start with lots of clips.
Can you tell me if this is a good idea and what i should add if there is anything to add.
