Hello Ouya Devs-
I intend to contact as many people as I can before I jump into this (for example, Kostas Nakos and his team already created an Android port of Atari800 named Colleen ). Several people have reported issues with this port when attempting to side-load it into Ouya as it does not address the controls correctly.

Has anyone out there seriously started on a port over to Ouya for this fine computer system?
If not, I intend to either get permission from Mr.Nakos to use his port or just start with the Atari800 source. I'd like to add the great cheats feature that is in the Win800 version as well.
I am familiar with the Atari800 memory map and have some background in Assembler and C. Delving into the Ouya/Android platform will be new for me.

Where do I start if I want to port something? I intend to take in the tutorials that are offered in the Ouya for AIDE.
I'd like to get a list of tools that I would need for porting. I intend to develop mainly in Linux, but I can use Windows if absolutely necessary.
Thanks,
Mike
